1. What industries are your parts used in?

China Wave Spring has thousands of customers all over the world. We manufacture parts for a wide variety of environments and applications. While our products are specified in almost every industry, we have expertise in the Aerospace, Automotive, Off-Highway, Oil and Gas, and Medical industries. You can also find China Wave Spring parts in many other general industrial markets, in fact our parts are used in everything from shoes to the Mars Lander!

2. Are your catalog parts manufactured in Inconel? Is this still a standard part?

Our standard materials are carbon steel, 17-7 stainless steel, 302 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel depending on the product. However, China Wave Spring can manufacture parts from the catalog in a wide variety of exotic alloys with No-Tooling-CostTM. Our materials warehouse is stocked with hundreds of alloys ready for production. If you can’t find a standard part to meet your needs within our catalog, please contact the engineering department and we will find an appropriate solution.

3. How do you manufacture your parts?

China Wave Spring developed an exclusive, edgewinding manufacturing process that requires no special tooling. We utilize a precision forming operation that coils flat wire on edge to manufacture the highest quality rings and springs in the market. China Wave Spring parts can be coiled to your exact specification in almost any diameter, any number of turns and in any volume. Our minimal to no-scrap process virtually eliminates material waste allowing for the economical production of special alloys.

4. Why can’t you just quote it?

China Wave Spring strives to offer the perfect part the first time, every time. In order to make sure the part fits your application and dimensions perfectly, we may ask questions up front to ensure we are supplying the exact part you need. We like to understand the application and any environmental constraints so we can provide you with the most cost effective solution.

5. Can we get 100 free samples?

China Wave Spring is proud to offer free samples of our catalog standard parts, including retaining rings, wave springs, and constant section rings for you to test in your application. We generally start with smaller quantities until we learn more about your application, this ensures you are using the best part for your design. We also have low minimum purchase requirements in the event you wish to purchase at lower volumes.
