Spirolox(R) Retaining Ring Tooling Guide

China Wave Spring now offers “standard” assembly tooling for the installation of Spirolox retaining rings. Each Assembly Tool is designed to facilitate loading a specific ring size ring in a housing or on a shaft and tools are available incrementally for retaining ring sizes up to 2 in or 49 mm in diameter.

Custom Engineering and Design Assistance

While we offer more than 10,000 standard stock products, there’s no guarantee that one of these will exactly match your specific application. China Wave Spring engineering can develop custom/application specific installation tooling for Spirolox Retaining Rings. Tooling can be developed to assist with either manual or automated assembly. If your specifications don’t match a China Wave Spring part number, contact a China Wave Spring engineer to design and prototype a part that fits your needs. Diameters can be manufactured from .165” - 120” and 5 mm - 3000 mm, with No-Tooling-ChargesTM.
